Chaos on the roads as accident causes hour long delays out of Gosport
MOTORISTS face delays of up to an hour getting out of Gosport this morning following an accident.
An incident at the Quay Street roundabout has caused major disruption to journeys around the network.
Hampshire’s road traffic team say traffic is very slow moving northbound on Newgate Lane from Gosport to Fareham.
Motorists are being warned to avoid the area ‘if possible’.
The incident resulted in the the first lane at the roundabout being blocked. All lanes have now re-opened but heavy congestion remains.
