Emsworth man is named after crash

A MAN involved in a crash died of natural causes rather than as a result of the accident, police have confirmed.

He has been named as 62-year-old Richard Leggett, of Prinsted, near Emsworth.

His silver Vauxhall Astra left the road and collided with a hedge at the Westhampnett Resort Hotel roundabout – at the junction of Madgwick Lane and Stane Street – near Chichester, just before 9.50am on May 8.

An inquest will be held to determine what happened.
