Fire crews rescue baby trapped in car

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a baby from a car after it was accidentally locked inside.

Crews from Southsea fire station were called to help the child’s mother outside Horatio House, in Meriden Road, Southsea, yesterday at 9am.

She had put the baby into the car and left her keys on the driver’s seat, while tending to another child, when the silver car automatically locked.
