Man seriously hurt in fall from Southsea flat

A MAN is seriously ill in hospital after falling from a building.

Paramedics and police officers were called to Berkeley Heights, South Parade, Southsea, after reports of a man falling to the ground and hurting himself.

Police were called out at about 3.15pm on Wednesday.

The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital by ambulance.

He remains there as he receives treatment to serious injuries.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘Somebody fell from a second floor window.

‘It’s not being treated as suspicious. The person has life-changing injuries.’
