Man who died in IKEA roof fall was from Lee-on-the-Solent
Police say a man who died after falling from the roof of an IKEA store was from Lee-on-the-Solent.
The 56-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the tragedy at the superstore in West Quay Road, Southampton, at 11.20am yesterday.
Hampshire Constabulary has appealed for witnesses. Police say the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
The tragedy is the sceond at the store in less than a year. Last December, a woman died after falling from the roof.
