A YELLOW warning of wind and snow is in place for the Portsmouth area today.

Storm Emma is expected to hit the south coast with temperatures reaching highs of just -2C but due to a chilly wind it will feel more like -9C.

Light snow is forecast to fall all day.

A32 Gosport/Fareham – No reported delays

Trains – South Western Railway: Due to a broken down freight train between Eastleigh and Fareham, the route towards Portsmouth is currently blocked. Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised until 10am.

Bus services – No reported delays

Hovertravel – Service between the Isle of Wight and Southsea is currently suspended due to the weather.
