Mutiny inquests: Sister and friend tell inquest what happened after teenager took ecstasy

Friends and family who saw a teenager after she had taken fatal ecstasy tablets at a festival have told an inquest what they saw.Â

Today the inquest resumed into the death of Georgia Jones, 18, who died at the Mutiny Festival in Portsmouth in May this year.

Miss Jones' sister, Danielle, said she saw her early in the afternoon at the festival and realised she was under the effects of drugs.

She said: '˜She just walked up to me, she was gurning, I said 'What have you taken?' and I said 'Go and sort yourself out'.'

Friend Chloe Edwards who saw her collapse said: '˜She was lying on the floor and she was fitting, I shouted 'Get a paramedic, get a paramedic' but no-one was coming, it felt like it was taking too long.'

There will be a separate inquest later this week into the death of Tommy Cowan, 20, who also died at the festival. 

The inquest into Miss Jones' death continues tomorrow.
