Person cut free from car after two vehicles collide on Hayling Island

FIREFIGHTERS had to cut a person out of a car following a crash on Hayling Island on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to Havant Road just after 9.30am on Saturday, January 15.

A spokesman from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘We received a call at 9.36am to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.

‘One person was trapped inside a car and had to be extracted before being handed over to paramedics.’
