PICTURED: Lorry crashes into roadside barrier on M27 near Portsmouth

One lane is blocked on the M27 near Portsmouth this afternoon after a HGV crashed into a barrier.

Traffic information service ROMANSE said the route was blocked westbound just after the junction 12 turn-off to the M275.

It said there is approximately a 20-minute delay from Eastern Road at Farlington.

Hampshire Constabulary’s roads team tweeted a picture of the lorry, which had collided with the roadside barrier.

It added that luckily there had not been any injuries.

Drivers have been warned to seek an alternative route while the vehicle is moved.
