PICTURES: Car '˜completely destroyed' in M27 blaze
A car was '˜completely destroyed' after it caught alight next to a M27 slip lane.
Firefighters battled to control the blaze after it started near the entry road at Junction 5 at Eastleigh shortly after 10pm last night.
Twitter user @mehball posted pictures online of the fire.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said a crew from St Marys used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to put out the fire, but the car was completely destroyed.
The fire was out shortly after 10.30pm.
