Rush-hour delays on M27 after four-vehicle crash

Traffic is queueing on the eastbound route after the collision between junction 8 at Bursledon and junction 9 at Whiteley.

Traffic information service ROMANSE said the third lane had been closed but has now been reopened.

A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman said four vehicles had been reported as being involved, with one person complaining of head and back pain from whiplash.

Traffic is queueing back as far as Hedge End at junction 7.
