Signal failure causing train delays from Fareham

Trains between Fareham and Eastleigh are being delayed this morning due to a signal failure.

The signalling problem at Botley station means that commuters on South West Trains’ service to London Waterloo could face delays up to 20 minutes.

Trains could also be subject to diversions, meaning that they may not call stations in Botley or Hedge End until approximately 9.00am.

Network Rail has tweeted that engineers are on the site trying to resolve the issue.
