'˜Sinkhole' opens up in Bognor road
A road has been closed as police investigate reports that a sinkhole has appeared in a road in Bognor Regis.
Victoria Drive has been cordoned off and police and highways officers are currently on the scene investigating.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “We received a call at 10.15am (Monday, June 6) from a member of the public that a sinkhole has opened up near a roundabout on Victoria Drive.
“Highways have been called and are also on the scene.”
