Smouldering jetty is safe
FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a smouldering jetty in Gosport.
Personnel from Gosport Fire Station responded to the alert at 1.27pm on Sunday, at Weevil Lane.
The area was made safe after the blaze was extinguished with one hosereel.
