Traffic delays loom as Havant roundabout to close for maintenance

From tonight until Friday, November 9, the roundabout at at Harts Farm Way, Southmoor Lane, Brockhampton Road and Brookside Road will be closed from 7pm-7am each night.

Additional construction work is taking place during the day, which will finish at 4pm each day to accommodate rush hour congestion, with traffic being diverted along the A27 and Solent Road.

Traffic is expected in the morning on the Brockhampton Road approach, and in the evening along Southmoor Lane and back to Penner Road.

The scheme is taking place to replace the current mini roundabout, replacing it with full roundabout to increase traffic flow and discourage speeding through the junction.
