Woman rescued from mud after getting stuck in Portchester Creek
A DOG walker was rescued after getting stuck in mud.
The incident happened at 5.30pm today in Portchester Creek.
Rescue teams from Portsmouth and Hill Head coastguard, plus a crew from Fareham fire station, were called to the scene but the woman had been rescued by someone on a passing dinghy by the time they arrived.
However the dinghy had become stuck in the mud, and the rescue crews pulled it to safety.
The incident was over by 6.15pm. Nobody was hurt.
