Work set to continue at busy roundabout

RESURFACING to improve journeys will continue near the Portsbridge interchange near the M27/M275/A27 this week.

The westbound carriageway will be closed between the A2030 Eastern Road junction (on A27) to junction 11 and the link road from the M275 northbound carriageway to the M27 westbound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 6am, until Tuesday September 27 (Monday to Friday only).

A clearly-signed diversion will be in place via the A2030 Eastern Road, Havant Road, Southampton Road and Portchester Road.

Traffic from the M275 will join the main diversion from the eastbound M27 at the A2030 Eastern Road junction.

Work to improve the road at Winnall Roundabout near the M3 junction 9 / A34 Winchester finishes this week. The roundabout will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 6am, from today for five nights. Approach roads will also be closed during the same period.

Safety improvements will be carried out to the barrier on the M3 at junction 13. The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight, between 9pm and 6am, from today for five nights. Clearly-signed diversions will be in place via junctions 12 and 14.
