Consultation on Hampshire Fire nears close
PEOPLE are being urged to have their say on the future of the fire service as a consultation draws to a close.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service is carrying out a review of its services as it looks to reorganise its services in a bid to save £12m in the next four years.
It also needs to save a further £3m by 2020 so it is assessing its services such as the type of incidents it responds to and its prevention work.
An online survey has been launched to gauge public opinion on its proposals, which closes on Sunday.
