Crash flips Mini Cooper on its side with section of Delme roundabout in Fareham closed

A SECTION of a busy roundabout in central Fareham has been closed after a car flipped on its side this morning.

Police were called to the scene after a red Mini Cooper flipped on its side while making its way around the Delme roundabout in Fareham at around 11.45am this morning.

The crash happened just after the exit for the M27, blocking both lanes of the roundabout.

There were no serious injuries resulting from the crash, according to a tweet from a Hampshire police Twitter account.

The tweet reads: ‘Fareham E shift currently dealing with an RTC on the Delme roundabout.

‘We will have the road clear shortly. Please bear with us. Fortunately no serious injuries.’
