Drivers warned of closures on the A3 Hindhead Tunnel this weekend

DRIVERS using the southbound Hindhead Tunnel on the A3 this weekend are advised to plan ahead due to overnight closures for maintenance work.

Southbound closures are required as part of ongoing work including replacing fans and lighting within the tunnel.

Police incident on M27 near Park Gate leads to delays in both directions

Work will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 9pm to 6am.

Traffic will be diverted via the A325, B3004, A31, A31 Hogs Back and diversions will be signposted.

Highways England is also advising drivers that there will be lane closures in both directions from Monday to Friday for works.
