Lorry crashes into M275 central reservation as two lanes closed

TWO lanes were closed overnight on the M275 southbound slip road following a traffic collision involving a lorry.

The lanes were closed on the A27 westbound exit due to barrier damage caused by a lorry collision in the early hours of the morning.

A statement from police said: ‘We were called at 1.53am this morning (10 June) to reports of a single vehicle collision on the M275 toward Portsmouth.

‘A lorry crashed into the central reservation and blocked two lanes, no injuries were reported.

‘Lane closures were put into place while the barrier was fixed, this was handed over to Highways England.’

Speed restrictions were in place while the lanes were closed.

Both lanes have now been reopened.
