Trouble for pair of windsurfers near Chichester Harbour entrance
TWO windsurfers had to be rescued after getting into difficulty in the bad weather.
The RNLI’s lifeboat from Hayling Island was sent to rescue the pair yesterday after a member of the public called the Coastguard.
The boat was launched at 8.20pm and brought one of the men back to shore. The other managed to get himself to safety. The incident, near Chichester Harbour entrance, was over by 8.40pm.
