Two men injured in car crash after 'dog runs into road'

According to reports from firefighters, a Ford Focus had ‘run into the back’ of a BMW car which is believed to have ‘stopped due to a dog running into the road’.

One appliance was sent from Havant at 12.30pm with an additional crew deployed from Emsworth Fire Station to the incident on Southleigh Road.

Three men were involved in the accident - one in the BMW and two in the Ford Focus.

Two men were handed over to the care of South Central Ambulance Service but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
