Woman in her 20s suffers 'serious' injuries after bike and vehicle crash in Stubbington

A YOUNG woman has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a vehicle and bike in Stubbington today.

The ambulance serviced said the crash happened at 11.5am at the junction of Stubbington Lane and Bells Lane.

Stubbington Lane was blocked northbound by the incident, and a woman in her 20s has been taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

A spokeswoman from South Central Ambulance Service said: ‘We received a call at 11.51am to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a bike.

‘We sent to the scene an ambulance crew and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance who were assessing and treating one female in her 20s for serious injuries.

‘She was treated at the scene by our crews and taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.’
