Woman injured in collision between two cars in country lane near Funtley

A CRASH on a sharp bend of a country lane near Funtley left a driver with minor injuries.

Police closed Titchfield Lane near River Lane junction following a collision between two cars at 3.41pm yesterday.

The incident saw a grey Ford Focus and a white Vauxhall Vivaro van collide on a sharp bend in the road, according to a spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary.

He said: ‘A woman suffered minor injuries to her wrists but was dealt with by paramedics at the scene.

‘The road was closed for a short time while emergency services dealt with the ongoing incident.’
