Woman seriously injured in Horndean after Jaguar car rolls down drive trapping her leg

A FIRE crew from Havant were called to rescue a woman who had been ‘pinned against a wall’ by a car which rolled down a drive.

After receiving a call at 2.45pm yesterday one fire appliance was deployed to Lith Lane, in Horndean, where a Jaguar car had rolled back and trapped the casualty against the wall.

By the time firefighters arrived a neighbour had managed to free the woman, who was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital with ‘a serious injury to her right leg’.

The incident is believed to have been an accident and the woman’s injuries are described as not being life threatening.
