Long delays on major road after two parked vehicles obstruct traffic

GOSPORT: Little Anglesey Road, Gomer Lane, A32 Forton Road, Elson Road, Rowner Road, A32 Fareham Road.


STUBBINGTON: Old Street, Cottes Way, Carisbrooke Avenue, Stubbington Lane, Stubbington By-Pass.

FAREHAM: A32 Gosport Road, Rowan Way, High Street, Serpentine Road, A27 Western Way, Highlands Road.

TITCHFIELD: Bridge Street, Hunts Pond Road, Whittle Avenue, Telford Way, Crompton Way, Parkway, Whiteley Way.

PORTCHESTER: A27 West Street, Portsview Avenue, Dore Avenue, Hill Road.

WATERLOOVILLE: Milton Road, Aston Road, Hazleton Way.

HAVANT: Hulbert Road, The Drive.

HAYLING ISLAND: Sinah Lane, Staunton Avenue.

PORTSMOUTH: Burnaby Road, Cambridge Road, Eastern Road, Fawcett Road, Furze Lane, Lowestoft Road, Mile End Road, Milton Road, Moorings Way, Southampton Road.


The lines between Fareham and St Denys will be closed all day Sunday for renewal and repair work.

Services will be diverted between Fareham and Southampton Central, calling at Eastleigh. Replacement bus services will run between Fareham and Southampton Central.


Due to engineering work between Fareham and St Denys on Sunday trains to and from Southampton Central will be diverted to terminate and start from Portsmouth & Southsea.

Some trains will call additionally at Fratton.

Replacement buses will run between Havant and Southampton Central calling at Cosham, Fareham and Swanwick.


On Sunday trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will be operating to a revised timetable with trains being diverted and having extended journey times between Southampton and Fareham. Some trains will also run earlier than normal train times.

Also on Sunday due to improvement work in the Southampton area First Great Western services between Cardiff Central and Brighton will be subject to alteration with trains terminating at Westbury or being diverted to terminate and start at Portsmouth Harbour. Alternative Southern Trains services will run between Fareham and Brighton.

The 9.46pm Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour service will also not run.


No planned disruption to services.


The Portsmouth Sprint Triathlon will be taking place on Sunday. There will be various road closures along the seafront and South Parade.

Services 1, 7, 16 and 17 will be diverted.

Due to the Portchester Carnival taking place on Saturday, service 3 will be diverted.


A revised timetable will be in operation to cope with large number of people travelling to and from the Isle of Wight festival.
