The lines between Basingstoke and Southampton Central will be closed all day on Sunday for maintenance and renewal work.

Trains between London Waterloo and Weymouth will be diverted, calling at Surbiton instead of Woking, then Guildford, Havant and Fareham before resuming the normal route at Southampton Central. Where possible, long distance passengers should use these train services.

Extra train services will run between Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour.

Replacement bus services will also run between Basingstoke and Fareham via Eastleigh, connecting with trains between Southampton and Portsmouth.

Some lines in the Woking area and the lines between Woking and Guildford will be closed all day Sunday for renewal work.

Trains between London and Portsmouth via Haslemere will call at Surbiton instead of Woking. A connecting bus service will run between Woking and Guildford.

On Sunday trains between Cardiff Central, Bristol Temple Meads, Swindon and Westbury, Weymouth, Portsmouth Harbour, Brighton will be operating to a revised timetable. Most trains will be diverted between Bristol Temple Meads and Westbury via Swindon and Chippenham extending journey times. Buses will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Trowbridge. A revised timetable will also be in operation via Melksham.

From Monday to Thursday the 9.23pm Portsmouth Harbour to Westbury service will terminate at Salisbury. A rail replacement bus service will run between Salisbury and Westbury.



Due to a road closure in Market Avenue, Chichester, buses will be subject to diversion between Monday, February 24 and Friday, February 28.
