MOTORCYCLISTS converged on the M27 yesterday to protest about proposed European regulations.

The bikers set off in convoy from Rownhams Services and headed down the motorway on the inside lane before dispersing after 20 miles. Some bikers then continued riding towards Fareham and Portsmouth.

The event was organised by the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) which says new EU regulations will curtail bikers’ rights to modify vehicles and lead to them being stopped for more roadside checks.
