TRAFFIC has been held up as a tanker broke down on the M275.

This morning, traffic was reduced to one lane going southbound into Portsmouth after a Colas tanker had a blow out and broke down, blocking lane one and two.

A spokeswoman from Colas said: ‘One of our tanker’s had a blow out causing a blockage of lane one and two on the M275.

‘Our traffic management team have removed the tanker and all three lanes are now open.

‘It has been moved to the work access so that services can repair it.’
