COMMUTERS can expect delays of up to 30 minutes on trains from Portsmouth.

The 06:55 Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo had broken down with an electrical fault between Fratton and Hilsea.

The train has now been moved and services are able to run on both lines.

Journeys to and from Portsmouth Harbour may still be delayed while services recover. These delays will continue until approximately 11:30.

Alternative travel options are in place with South West passengers being able to use Stagecoach buses in the Portsmouth, Havant and Fratton areas and First Great Western passengers may use South West Trains services via any reasonable route.
