THREE vessels had to call for help from Gosport And Fareham Inshore Rescue Service in just one day.

The volunteer lifeboat was sent to a dismasted yacht off Hill Head at 10.30am on Saturday, then to a broken-down fishing boat near Royal Clarence Yard, Gosport, at 11.50am.

Thirdly, it was sent to help a yacht that had reported steering difficulties in the central Solent at 2pm.
