Disruption is expected as a major road is resurfaced.

Hampshire County Council contractors will be resurfacing Redhill Road, Rowlands Castle, tomorrow, Friday and Monday from 9.30am to 4pm each day.

The road will be closed from the junction with Manor Lodge Road down to the Church on The Green.

A statement from the county council said: ‘The road will re-open in the evenings and at the weekend, though it is appreciated the daytime closure will impact on other roads in the area.

‘Diversion signs will be posted accordingly.

‘Residents of Redhill Road will have access to/from their properties for most of the day, unless the resurfacing work is taking place immediately outside their property when the road surface needs around an hour to “set” before it can be driven over.’

Residents are being requested to move their vehicles off Redhill Road – either on to driveways or neighbouring roads – by 8am while the work takes place. Any questions, call 0845 603 5633.
