PART of the M275 was closed overnight after a car collided with a barrier.

The left lane of the westbound carriageway near the Rudmore Roundabout was shut for an hour just after 1am this morning.

Hampshire Police say a white Honda Civic spun around and hit a crash barrier, which was badly damaged.

No other cars were involved.

The left lane was closed until 2.20am while police cleared the scene.

There were no injuries.
