A BUSY road in Portsmouth was closed for about half-an-hour after a car smashed into a bollard.

The Renault Clio lost control in Hampshire Terrace at about 11pm on Saturday.

Firefighters from Southsea went to the crash, but everyone was out of the car by the time they arrived. An ambulance arrived at 11.10pm and paramedics treated one of the car’s occupants for minor injuries.
