Long delays on major road after two parked vehicles obstruct traffic

A TRAIN company has apologised after self-service ticket machines broke during rush hour at Havant train station.

The self-service machines stopped working at about 4pm yesterday, causing queues at the ticket booths.

South West Trains kept the ticket office open until 8pm and by 6pm three out of the four machines had been fixed.

A spokeswoman said: ‘Passengers could still buy their tickets at the office, and extra staff were available to help with selling tickets.

‘We would like to apologise to passengers in Havant for any inconvenience caused.’
