A COSHAM councillor is demanding to know why people weren’t consulted about the work causing problems.

Cllr Aiden Gray, who lives in Wayte Street, Cosham, said: ‘I have been woken up at night by the noise, as has my son Toby, who is 10 months old.

‘No-one from the council thought to mention this late-night work was going to happen at any of the Northern Road Bridge community meetings that were held.

‘I will be contacting the traffic and transport department asking for answers. It’s poor management by the council. It seems like things were rushed through and residents weren’t taken into consideration.’
