TWO motorway crashes are causing long traffic delays coming out of Portsmouth today.

Rush hour drivers were stuck in tailbacks for the second night in a row after accidents on the M27 westbound and M275 northbound.

Two vehicles collided on the M275 fly-over coming out of the city centre and another accident between Fareham and Cosham added to delays just after 5pm.

Vehicles involved in both incidents were soon moved to the hard shoulder to get traffic moving but the backlog still had not cleared by 5.30pm.

It comes after an oil spill on the A27 eastbound caused massive disruption across the area on Monday night.
