Cyclist, 70, left with broken knee and fractured wrist after hit-and-run crash

A CYCLIST was left with a broken knee after he was floored by a hit-and-run driver. 

The 70-year-old man was riding his electric bicycle along College Street in Petersfield when the accident happened at 9pm last Wednesday.

The motorist involved in the crash failed to stop at the scene and the man was also left with a fractured wrist. 

Police are investigating the incident, which occurred close to the Good Intent pub.
