A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

The man was hit by a silver Perodua Kelisa in Anchorage Road, Anchorage Park, Portsmouth.

The incident happened just after 6.50pm on Saturday.

South Central Ambulance Service sent one rapid response vehicle and treated the cyclist for arm injuries, before he was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham.
