A CYCLIST has suffered a broken leg after being hit by a van.

The 60-year-old man was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, after it happened at the junction of Eastern Road and Langstone Road in Portsmouth at 5.40pm.

Police had closed part of the road after the collision with the grey Renault Kangoo van.

The ambulance service sent two ambulance to the crash.

No-one was arrested and anyone with information should call police on 101.
