Man suffers ‘life-threatening’ injuries after car crash

A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car.

The cyclist was in Crofton Road, Fareham, when he was hit by the vehicle.

The man was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa saloon vehicle.

The incident happened shortly after 3pm yesterday.

South Central Ambulance Service sent one ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.

Hampshire Constabulary were also present, who said the cyclist was treated for minor leg injuries, before he was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, for further checks.

Police said the vehicle was moved off the road quickly.
