DRIVERS are being warned to stay away from an East Meon road after 2,000 litres of kerosene has been leaking from an overturned lorry.

The lorry overturned at 10am this morning and was carrying 7,000 litres of kerosene.

Both Coombe Road and Coombe Cross, in East Meon, have been closed and unlikely to open until later this evening.

Residents have also been warned.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service sent five fire engines, including ones from Havant and Cosham fire stations to the scene.
