A WOMAN was cut from her car following a multi-vehicle crash on the M27.

The driver lost control of her Fiat Panda on the westbound Whiteley junction slip road at 7.15pm on Saturday.

It is thought three other vehicles were also involved in the collision, which occurred during a brief hailstorm.

Firefighters from Cosham removed the roof from her car to free her before she was taken to hospital by ambulance. Her injuries were not thought to be serious. Crews from Fareham and Hightown provided support.
