THE death of a driver whose car crashed into a garden wall was an accident, a coroner has ruled.

Helen Morton died after her Ford Fiesta left the road and a hit a garden wall in Southleigh Road, Havant.

An inquest at Portsmouth Guildhall yesterday heard the 36-year-old, of Rowan Road, Havant, died from her injuries at Southampton General Hospital on July 9 last year following the crash the night before.

David Horsley, coroner for Portsmouth, recorded a verdict of accidental death.
