A PERSON injured in a two-car crash was taken to hospital.

Firefighters rushed to help after the crash in Marmion Road, Southsea, at midday yesterday.

Both cars came off the road and one was stuck in a bush.

Two crews from Southsea fire station, had to free the injured person who was trapped in one of the vehicles.

Paramedics took the 
person to hospital but it is unclear what their injuries were.
