FAREHAM-based company PSP has been appointed as the official logistics partner for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race for the second year.

It will provide support for the entire Clipper 11-12 Race, which starts from the UK in August.

PSP will take charge of moving Clipper’s containers 40,000 miles around the globe as competitors battle it out during the 11-month race.

PSP managing director Frank Dixie said: ‘We’re over the moon that, after doing such a successful job last time, we have been chosen yet again to provide logistics for the world-famous race.

‘It will bring many more opportunities for PSP to further increase its profile in the marine industry.’
