TRAFFIC lights stopped working after a lorry smashed into them.

The Co-op lorry hit traffic lights in Southampton Road, Northarbour, at about 11.30am today.

No-one was hurt in the crash.

A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘Traffic lights have been broken.

‘Colas have been called out to fix the traffic lights.

‘The road is not blocked.’
