THE southbound carriageway of the M275 will be closed tonight for resurfacing works.

The closure will begin at 10pm and diversions will be in place from the Portsbridge Roundabout at the top of Hilsea down to the Rudmore Roundabout by Portsmouth International Port via Twyford Avenue.

All lanes will reopen by 5.30am.

The resurfacing work is part of on-going night-work during October for a combination of the motorway’s new Tipner junction and maintenance of the M275.
