FIRE crews have cut a man out of a car after a collision involving two vehicles in Gosport.

The man, in his 40s, suffered minor injuries in the accident at 11.05am in Rowner at the junction of Grange Road and Howe Road.

He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham after he was cut from his black Hyundai Matrix.

Grange Road was closed by police after the accident but re-opened at 12.25am when the Hyundai and the other car involved, a Renault Megane, were removed.

Two fire crews from Gosport and one from Fareham attended the crash, along with two ambulance crews and an ambulance supervisor from South Central Ambulance Service.
